Pakistan defeated India by three wickets in a Group A match of the ACC Men's Under-19 Asia Cup in Oman on Sunday, after wicketkeeper-batter Hamza Zahoor struck an unbeaten century.

India posted 207 and set Pakistan a target of 208, helped by an attacking 107 from Arjun Rajput. Pakistan slipped to 61/5 in reply, but Zahoor, batting at number seven, played a composed innings to guide them home. Pakistan finished on 209 for 7 in 48.1 overs.

After the match, India captain Lakshya Raichandani admitted his side did not score enough, saying they fell 20-30 runs short of a par total.

The win is a morale boost for Pakistan's youngsters. They are the defending champions, having beaten India by 191 runs in the December 2025 final in Dubai, where Sameer Minhas scored 172.
