The International Cricket Council (ICC) has received 8,397,294 ticket requests for the Pakistan-India match at the 2027 Men's Cricket World Cup, making it the most in-demand fixture of the tournament so far.

The match will be played on October 10, 2027, at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg, which holds about 34,000 spectators. The World Cup final, scheduled at the same venue on November 21, 2027, has drawn 7,900,944 requests, placing it second.

Overall, the ICC has received more than 120 million ticket requests from fans in 193 countries, with about 2.8 million unique fans registering in the ballot.

The figures are ballot applications, not confirmed sales, so the match has not necessarily sold out. The ticket ballot remains open until November 21, 2026. The tournament is being co-hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia.
