Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has officially announced a national award, the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, for Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja, acknowledging her leadership in rolling out the government's direct petrol subsidy scheme.

Addressing a ceremony celebrating the milestone of crossing 10 million direct beneficiaries, the Prime Minister highlighted the crucial role of digital infrastructure, NADRA integration, and telecom coordination in ensuring transparent financial delivery to eligible citizens across the country.
