In a major milestone for national aviation, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) officially received its first flagship Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner at Islamabad International Airport.

Aviation authorities and ministry representatives welcomed the long-haul aircraft following its ferry flight. The induction marks the first phase of PIA's multi-year fleet upgrade strategy aimed at improving fuel efficiency, expanding international long-haul routes, and enhancing passenger services for overseas routes.
