In a significant boost for bilateral relations, Lithuania has agreed to extend visa and consular facilitation for Pakistani nationals following high-level diplomatic talks between the two countries.

The agreement was reached during the 8th round of Bilateral Political Consultations led by Ambassador Ayesha Ali, Additional Secretary (Europe) for Pakistan, and Vice-Minister Vidmantas Verbauskas for Lithuania. Discussions focused on easing travel protocols and streamlining visa channels for Pakistani students, IT professionals, and business representatives, alongside strengthening trade, digital service partnerships, and regional security cooperation.
